These were very easy to assemble/install and my son is absolutely thrilled with them. They work exactly as expected. We did not have any quality issues with bowing, cracking, etc.. it would be fantastic if these were offered in larger sizes! I’m pretty sure we would fill an entire wall in his room with them.
This set of shelves are well made of wood with lego sheets inserted on them. The shelves come with everything to hang up on my wall and it even comes with stickers to cover up the screw holes. The lego sheets are compatible with my sets and I'm able to display them with no worry that they will fall off.
We are huge lego fans, and have multiple shelving units around the house with lego builds on them. I saw these and thought they would be perfect to place a couple of the builds on. These are obviously hand made, with lego base plates added on to the shelving unit. This is fine, they are done well and I have no complaints about that. This set of shelves is a bit thinner than the other floating shelves that we have, but again as long as you aren't putting a whole lot of weight on them, that won't be a problem. I like the front lip that hides the base plate you're attaching your lego build to. They include a set of round white stickers to cover the spots where you screw the shelf into place.
Why only 4 stars? Because these are not really true white, they are more of a "dirty" white. you can see it best in the photo of the shelf back with the white "cover" sticker in place - the stickers and lego base plates are white, but the shelves are a bit more cream. I'm not sure I'm actually going to use these shelves because that's just too noticeable to me. However overall, these shelves are nicely constructed and have a definite purpose.
Works perfectly with legos awesome addition to any room…
I was excited to order these. They look good, don’t get me wrong, but I’m not quite sure what I’ll do with them. They are obviously meant for displaying lego-esque building sets, but unless you’re building them directly on the shelf, a simple floating wall shelf with a flat surface would be just as useful. That being said, at some point I will try and build something directly on the assembly surface, so I’m glad to have these in my arsenal of lego tools.
